Today about upcoming Patch 1.3.4. <strong><em>Game Update 1.3.4 is coming to WAR bringing with it a myriad of powerful new weapons and a streamlined Scenario system designed to get in the action faster than ever</em></strong>. According to Developer&#8217;s Diary and Mr Sean Bosshardt letter, in upcoming 1.3.4 Mythic is planning to release powerful weaponry for our beloved Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and scenario changes which is important part of upcoming update.</p>
<p><strong>HIGHLIGHT&#8217;S</strong></p>
<p><strong><em>* The Scenario system has been restructured! Player will now participate in an expanding pool of Scenarios across all tiers.</em></strong></p>
<p><strong>Tier 1</strong> &#8211; Nordenwatch, Gates of Ekrund, Weekend Warfront<br />
<strong>Tier 2 </strong>- Mourkain Temple, Reikland Factory, Nordenwatch, Weekend Warfront<br />
<strong>Tier 3</strong> &#8211; Tor Anroc, Nordenwatch, Lost Temple of Isha, Reikland Factory, Weekend Warfront<br />
<strong>Tier 4</strong> &#8211; Serpent&#8217;s Passage, Reikland Factory, Nordenwatch, Lost Temple of Isha, Caledor Woods, Battle For Praag, Weekend Warfront</p>
<p><strong>* S<em>cenario Currency is here! You will now earn Recruit, Scout, Soldier, and Officer Emblems for completing any Scenario match.</em></strong> (Check out other part of my post – down below).</p>
<p><strong><em>* Players will now be faced with a difficult decision when a city enters Captured state. Beginning with 1.3.4 the Tier 4 RvR campaign will now reset when a Contested City enters the Captured state.</em></strong> After patch we must decide – Stay in City and gank/fight with enemy while he is preparing to ente Palace or Warlord PQ OR travel to Praag/Thunder Mountain/Dragonwake and capture zones fast while enemy is busy.<br />
In 1.3.4 Mythic is trying to improve the Scenario system including the new Scenario Reward system. The Scenario Reward system is similar to the Open RvR system, utilizing alternate currency accumulated by participating in RvR. There are two types of the new currency: Emblems and Insignias (just like Medallions and Crests). For these new Emblems and Insignias, we will be able to purchase awesome weaponry for our toons! Most powerful ones can be used only if you toon has 75 Renown Rank. Once we&#8217;ve reach rank 40, we will begin accumulating insignias that, in conjunction with emblems, are used to purchase this ultimate weapons. What is important, Insignias can be accumulated by:</p>
<p>-<strong> COMPLETING A SCENARIO</strong></p>
<p>- <strong>SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDING A KEEP</strong></p>
<p>- <strong>SUCCESSFULLY TAKING A KEEP</strong></p>
<p><strong>- OR WITHING THE INITIAL CITY PQ (AFTER STAGE 2)</strong></p>
<p>So no more standing at WC and guarding mailbox – to get end-game weapons WE NEED to participate in battle!!!!</p>
<p>Ok now how to get emblems currency?! We will be awarded emblems based on realm’s score at the end of each scenario you participate in. Through all tiers of the game, items on the scenario store will cost a number of these emblems.</p>
<p>On the end, Mr Sean is writing &#8211; <em>In further patches, expect to see both the Emblem/Insignia stores and the Medallion/Crest stores expand, offering exciting new wares that are found nowhere else.</em></p>
<p>Well, we shall see how it will look like in the future.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome! Today something about leveling strategy in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Best way to level up your character in Warhammer Online? First of all you should find best leveling spots &#8211; in my opinion some Public Quests are the most effective way to level up your character, because you can find many NPC monsters in one place to farm. You should also remember to have level near monsters level (you are 28 – monsters 30 or you are 5 and monsters 7 etc). Of course you can fight with monsters on much higher level then you are, but it’s pointless and less effective. Remember to use AoE (Area-of-Effect), while doing Warhammer powerleveling.</p>
<p>There are 2 types of levels in Warhammer Online &#8211; Rank (you can level up by gaining experience points) and Renown Rank (you can level up only by gaining special renown points).</p>
<p>Renown points are related to Player vs Player features. You are gaining them by kiling other characters, zone lock, capturing keep or fortress, from battlefield objectives and scenarios (most effective way!).</p>
<p><strong>Leveling 1 – 10</strong><br />
It&#8217;s easiest part – you can do quests, play scenarios, or play in Public Quests – each way is effective. Only one way suck – playing on PvP areas is really waste of your time, even is kinda fun.</p>
<p><strong>Leveling 11-20</strong><br />
Like above, but PvP area is now worth your effort.</p>
<p><strong>Leveling 21-28</strong><br />
Between these levels, you should play to have rank and renown rank almost on the same level. Above level 21, you must look for farming spots and use them from time to time.<br />
<strong><br />
Leveling 28- 40</strong><br />
If you are on 28 level, travel to Tier 4 and play in scenarios, this way you can earn a lot of renown points! The lower your level you have – the higher renown bonus you receive from enemies in T4! My own record is almost 8000 renown points in one single scenario! I was 28 and most of my enemies around 40 ;-). Your Rank must be almost the same as your Renown Rank! At T4 you need farming spots. Leveling above level 30 is boring, but farming spots are really great way to max your effort – without them…well…</p>
<p>To level up your rank, you must be stubborn and patient, but real hell is too level up your renown rank to level 80. If I remember correctly to level up to level 80 you need around 10 millions of renown points or even more. Warhammer Power leveling can help you with that ;)</p>
<p>One more thing &#8211; Try to relax, it’s only a game!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome on blog about Warhammer gold! According to official news, from October 23 &#8211; November 1, we will witness Deamon Moon Rising live event.</p>
<p>What is all about? In Daemon Moon Rising, a sub-cult of Chaos artificers have summoned deadly daemons and bound them into special carnival masks. After that, they smuggled them into the Empire only for one purpose – to corrupt and possess anyone who wore them! Well, also the greenskins or the Chaos tribesmen take few masks, just like Dark Elves ;-). Now anyone who approaches you can be already possessed by daemon force! D’OH! In this dangerous situation, we must collect the masks and defeat some daemons – kinda easy stuff. Anyway most valuable item is the powerful Magnus Daemonarium.</p>
<p><strong>With the rise of the Daemon Moon, we can obtain a variety of twisted, daemonic masks: </strong><br />
the sickly image of the Face of the Unborn (you can win them from Children of the Mask and Masks of Corruption quests) or the disturbing Leather Face (rare reward from Daemonball Rally Public Quest).<br />
Also during this live event, we will be able to participate in the High Pass Cementary Scenario (well, its one of the best scenarios in T3 – in my opinion). If we participate while wearing special Daemon mask, we will gain some event influence points (for each win – 500 points).</p>
<p><strong>Rewards</strong></p>
<p>Basic: Fiendfang (this item will give you a 10% bonus to damage, healing, Renown, and experience for 3 days)<br />
Advanced: Meatcleaver&#8217;s Mask event slot item<br />

<p>The Order and Destruction Heralds associated with The Wild Hunt Live Event will be stationed next to the Flight Master in each capital city. The Quest Givers will be near the Heralds.</p>
<p>Order – Master Hunter Therion Fairshot and Virinil the Storyteller (Quest Giver + Herald) </p>
<p>Destruction – Balthinal Tholos and Airilar Wildheart (Quest Giver + Herald) </p>
<p><strong>Hunter’s Vale Gateway Locations<br />

Below are the locations, by Tier, of the Hunter’s Vale Gateways. </p>

<p>In event there will be 10 tasks ranging from hunting Kurnous’s sacred stags to surviving the Curse of Kurnous, and 1 quest chain for each Realm. There are each Tier versions of each quest so that all of us can participate. </p>
<p><strong>Lets talk about Rewards&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>Basic Reward &#8211; Hartsblood Draft: Unlocks an exclusive Wild Hunt Live Event title.</p>
<p>Advanced Reward &#8211; Stag Skull Trophy</p>
<p>Elite Reward &#8211; Bleeding Hart Charm</p>
<p>Boss Drop Reward &#8211; Fleet Stag Mantle: Gain the speed and grace of a wild deer!</p>
<p>Crafting Reward &#8211; Special potions and horns imbued with the spirits of the wild! </p>
<p>Well, I think better idea is to add something like Sylwania Live Event with Cerstain Castle or something like that&#8230;</p>
<p>If you were excited by rumors of upcoming expansion, well I need to disappoint you. Recently Andy Belford, WAR Community Coordinator, addressed the issue over on the Warhammer Aliance Board.</p>
<p><em>„We&#8217;re not announcing an expansion. Of course we&#8217;re always working on new things, but right now, a paid or even another Live Expansion (such as Land of the Dead) is not something we&#8217;re tossing out there on the table.<br />
Our primary focus has been and will continue to be improving core aspects of the existing game. We are committed to making the game play experience fun for all of our players. This is our mission and will remain so for the foreseeable future.”</em></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome! We are very close to 1.3.1 update! Well, according to patch notes, Capital city invasions will be more exciting, with a simplified and accessible new flow of invasion states, interface improvements, Public Quest upgrades.</p>
<p>Also there will be two ramps up to the Lord room for attackers and defenders alike to watch and utilize for flank attacks on their enemies.</p>
<p>Player-crafted Summoning Stones allow groups to rapidly assemble for battle even when the party members are spread out over long distances.</p>
<p>After patch, special scouts will mark your map with new icons displaying more precise statuses of Keeps and Battlefield Objectives.</p>
<p>Most important changes, in my opinion, are related to capital cities. How many times we invaded Aldorf for blue/green items?! Now it&#8217;s over! Well, first of all other than guards and Public Quest bosses, all aggressive NPCs have been removed as they are no longer required to win the PQ. Ambient and quest monsters are still intact, but they will be neutral to all players.</p>
<p><strong>The number of Battlefield Objectives has increased to 3 per city</strong></p>
<p>The Inevitable City &#8211; The Apex, The Monolith Focus, and Temple of the Damned.</p>
<p>Altdorf Battlefield Objectives &#8211; Central Altdorf, Bright Wizard College, and Temple of Sigmar (Mythic removed Docks BO)</p>
<p>The Public Quest consists of the following 2 stages</p>
<p><strong>Stage 1</strong></p>
<p>Destruction VP &#8211; 0/1000</p>
<p>Order VP &#8211; 0/1000</p>
<p>Now we will earn points by capturing and holding BOs and destroying other players. Well, now NPC kills no longer award Victory Points and each player killed is 1 Victory Point. Battlefield Objectives generate ten points per capture and then one point every three seconds while owned. If a Battlefield Objective is abandoned by players, the BO will revert to a neutral state after 60 seconds-so no more points from BO after that&#8230; If your realm first earn 1k Victory Points advances the PQ to Stage 2 and forces the opposing Realm&#8217;s general to spawn.</p>
<p><strong>Stage 2</strong></p>
<p>Destruction VP &#8211; 0/1000</p>
<p>Order VP &#8211; 0/1000</p>
<p><strong>or</strong></p>
<p>Kill General Leighton &#8211; 0/1 (for Destro after Stage 1)</p>
<p>Kill Adell the Corruptor &#8211; 0/1 (for Order after Stage 1)</p>
<p>The winner of Stage 1 may now try to win the PQ by either killing the enemy PQ boss or earn another 1k points via player kills and controlled BOs. Alternately, the loser of Stage 1 can try to earn 1k points first, which causes Stage 2 to flip to their winning conditions. Winning Stage 2 will earn a chest drop in the safety of the winning Realm&#8217;s spawn area.</p>
<p>Mythic also done further improvements to overall performance and stability, highlighted by substantial performance improvements in the game&#8217;s animation system.</p>
<p><em>“And much, much more including a healthy dose of career bug fixes, item and crafting improvements, and even more UI updates.”</em></p>

From Producer&#8217;s letter written by Mr. Skalski, I know that, Mythic wants change some AoE, CC (Crowd Control) skills, but also raise amoung of XP and Renown from combat around Keeps and Battlefield Objectives. <em>“We are raising the gain by 150% to XP and 250% to RP, so get out there and charge your enemies!”</em> &#8211; In my opinion great idea! It&#8217;s first move to make Warhammer Online, more RvR-centric and they will continue to look at improving the by better incentivizing Keeps that are defended and upgraded. Mr. Skalski also mentioned that they are working on some Fortress changes, but about that, he will write in the future.</p>
<p>We all know that RvR need changes and improvements &#8211; lets be honest, strongest part of Warhammer Online and all idea is RvR, so Mythic should evolve this feature into something big, into massive online massacre, battles and PvP action! Armies! PvP! More renown, XP and gold!</p>
<p>Some changes in Patch 1.3.0b</p>
<p>AoE balance fixes:<br />
All AoE abilities are moving to standardized ranges and coverage, based on their type (Melee<em> &#8220;Cleave&#8221;</em>, Conical AoE, Line AoE, PBAoE, or Targeted AoE).</p>
<p>Crowd control changes:<br />
New Renown Purchase Ability &#8211; New Renown Point purchasable ability at Renown Rank 40 that will be a <em>&#8220;CC immunity&#8221;</em> that players can trigger for temporary CC immunity. This should help break up the<em> &#8220;I get CC&#8217;d at the beginning of a fight and there is nothing I can do about it&#8221;</em> issues.</p>
<p>All Immunities Persist Through Death &#8211; simple &#8211; no more Stun &gt; Dead &gt; Rez &gt; Stun &gt; Dead.</p>
<p>Archmage and Shaman revamp:<br />
Some new and improved Path of Da Green and Path of Vaul layouts knew from Public Test server, the new Energy of Vaul and Fury of Da Green abilities, and a handful of new and improved Tactics!</p>

<p>I was very surprised when I read that Mr. Mark Jacobs, co-founder leaved EA on June 23, 2009. Well, seems like Mythic is finally rethinking a few of its previous strategies specifically the issues of population (im)balance, stability and sieges. We all know very well, Bright Wizard and his AoE spells (great balanced career D&#8217;OH) or Warrior Priest and his healing abilities during combat. Well, I was surprised when 2 Warrior Priests, killed me &#8211; Marauder &#8211; and 1 Orc Choppa, 2 Black Orcs, Shaman and Disciple of Khaine. Great balance indeed.<br />
We all know one thing for sure &#8211; Warhammer Online need changes. With BioWare, one of the most experienced electronic entertainment company, I&#8217;m sure WAR will be bigger, better and finally BALANCED! Bioware developed many great titles like the Baldur&#8217;s Gate series, MDK2, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Jade Empire. They also created the Infinity Engine, which was used as a core component for development role-playing games based on Dungeons &#038; Dragons, such as Baldur&#8217;s Gate and Icewind Dale. For their game Neverwinter Nights, BioWare developed the Aurora Engine, the basis for a number of successful computer and console 3D RPGs thereafter.</p>
<p>We are all waiting for more PvP areas and ideas + expansion, my personal opinion is that they already working on new expansion &#8211; that&#8217;s why they hire people from BioWare to support Warhammer Online.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome on blog about WAR gold. As you probably know, WAR patch 1.3. It contains RvR improvements, action bar improvements, lockout timer changes, new public quests loot roll options (no if you don&#8217;t want to roll and participate in PQ &#8211; one click on the chest near radar) and many more other changes. Most interesting part of this patch  is new zone for PvP called Land of the Dead. According to Creative Director Paul Barnett, Mythic this way, just <em>“add more game to the game.” </em>Anyway check out this cool Land of the Dead Trailer, it&#8217;s awesome!</p>

“The war moves into exotic lands! With the introduction of the amazing new Land of the Dead high-level RvR dungeon, the Tomb Kings join the Age of Reckoning.”</em></p>
<p>Well, to enter the Land of the Dead, the realm must win through Realm vs Realm, most specifically zone conquest and kills. After competition the controlling realm gains the sole ability to enter the zone and respawn if killed within it. Of course, when it flips, the players already inside won’t just be kicked out. Instead, the invading realm will need to purge them through a series of missions. </p>
<p>Another very important change in Patch 1.3 is new sigil system. Mythic announced, these change to the Ward system at Games Day Baltimore, if I remember correct. The <em>&#8220;Sigil&#8221;</em> system was announced, transferring wards from specific pieces of armor to the Tome of Knowledge. Now ward pieces will still be available through the armor sets, as well as complementary methods such as defending the fortress, kill specific number of times a specific mob. You can check out this in Armory in Tome of Knowledge.<br />
Well, this way is really easy to unblock wards, especially Lesser and Greater.</p>
